the vegan way

Eat out

Guides to what you can order at UK chains are coming soon. Until then, this works anywhere.

Checking any menu

  1. Look for a "V" or "Vegan" mark on the menu. Many chains now have one.
  2. Ask for the allergen menu. Places that serve food must tell you about the 14 allergens if you ask. Anything without milk or egg is a good start.
  3. Then ask about the things allergen menus miss: honey, gelatine, and whether chips share a fryer with fish or meat.

Finding vegan places
