About us
We're a husband and wife cooking vegan in the UK. We're both neurodivergent.
Most recipes assume you can picture the finished dish, juggle three things at once, and know when something "looks right". Some days we can't. So we write recipes we can actually follow, and it turns out they're easier for everyone.
How our recipes work
- One action per step. Nothing happening "meanwhile".
- Everything ready before the hob goes on.
- Every step names the food. "Stir the lentils", never "stir it".
- Exact amounts and times. No "a splash" or "until done".
- "Ready when" in words — and a photo where we have one.
- A first move. Every recipe starts with one physical thing to do, because starting is often the hardest part.
- Energy labels. Low, some or good — so you can match the meal to the day.
Every recipe is one we've cooked together in our own kitchen.
What this site doesn't do
- No tracking, no cookies, no adverts, no accounts.
- No health claims. We point you to the NHS and The Vegan Society for that.
- We don't earn anything from links.
